We also recognise people’s wide range of perspectives through their designs. While we’re committed to supporting freedom of expression, we are responsible for ensuring our products do not harm, offend, or encourage negative behaviour within society.

To uphold this balance, DTF Ghana uses a content guideline system to determine what can, might, or cannot be printed. We’re here to help you design boldly, but within standards that promote unity, safety, and respect.

🚦 DTF Ghana’s Traffic Light Content Policy

We use a simple traffic light system to guide our content review process:

🔴 Red Light – Designs We Will Not Print

DTF Ghana will not print any designs that:

  • Infringe on copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property

  • Promote violence, abuse, or hate toward individuals or groups

  • Contain hate speech, slurs, or symbols of discrimination

  • Encourage criminal acts, fraud, or illegal activities

  • Feature explicit sexual content, graphic nudity, or child exploitation

  • Glorify drug abuse or underage substance use

  • Promote harassment or dehumanisation of any person

🟡 Yellow Light – Designs Subject to Review

Some designs may be flagged for revision or require approval before printing, including:

  • Satirical or political content that may incite hate or division

  • Lewd or vulgar images/text (even in an artistic or humorous context)

  • Content with violent themes, weapons, or offensive gestures

  • Statements or visuals that may defame public figures or institutions

  • Any designs that may trigger public sensitivity or misinterpretation

Our team will work with you to adjust your design if it falls under this category.

🟢 Green Light – Designs We Are Proud to Print

DTF Ghana will print designs that:

  • They are respectful and appropriate for all age groups

  • Celebrate creativity, unity, culture, or business

  • Are legally authorised or original in nature

  • Do not promote harm or offence to others
